Power of Play Summer Camp
Fred Rogers said, “Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children, play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood.”
Play is also a valuable tool when it comes to mindfulness. Allowing our kids to have space to explore with curiosity is powerful! During this week-long half-day camp for kids ages 4-6, they will have access to all the games, toys, and fun in the studio. We will take time to move, and even get outside when the weather allows!
If your child is currently in foster care, you can use the code foster01 at checkout for 30% off this camp!
There is a $15 non-refundable registration fee.
Sample Class Format
We will come together every morning and do movements inspired by books and our imagination. From there, our day will focus on exploring mindfulness through play which will include sensory and imaginative play. Each day, campers will have the choice to create art and other tools to bring home, connecting their mindful play practice at home.
We will end each day by picking up, eating lunch, and sharing about our day together! Supporting each other along the way and creating our own community.
