SLSO Concert Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky struggled with love and sexuality in an unforgiving time and country. Though he lived as a bachelor for most of his life, he went as far as marrying a woman to stop the gossip around his sexuality and potential arrest. His "Francesca da Rimini is a dramatic wild ride, following a story of forbidden love through Dante's Inferno.
